Summer Knitwear

Summer Knitwear

We've been meaning to do a Spring/Summer weight for a little while now, and introducing a chunky cotton jumper keeps in line with our heavier winter knits. You can still wear the 1-ply Geelong Hudson throughout Spring, but perhaps you want something a little cooler but offers that chunky knit hug.

Based off the Dean crew neck, the Gullane is a 4-ply cotton crew neck jumper – named after the beautiful beach on the Scottish coastline – offering a robust weight with a cooler cotton yarn rather than lambswool. Made in Hawick in the Scottish boarders, this jumper is a welcome addition to the roster of timeless Malloch's pieces.

We're pretty pleased with this and are looking forward to add more summer weights in the coming years – but for this year, this will do nicely. Perfect for wearing in the cooler mornings and evenings, or taking along with you while on a boat or travelling where powerful air-con scuppers your summer attire.

Hudson Geelong Crew Neck Jumper

The 1-ply Hudson Geelong Crew Neck is a great all-rounder and the perfect jumper to stow in a bag for cooler evenings or wrap around our waist/shoulders when at the beach or up a mountain and we find the cooler air is nipping at us.

The Stewart Cardigan is a nice alternative, even if it might remind you of colder days. With the unpredictable weather you don't want to be caught out, but being able to remain unbuttoned gives you that diverse comfort.
